In the hills of Kisii, Kenya, a courageous woman named Miss Isabellah is changing lives. She is the heart behind Hope’s Alive Orphanage, where she lovingly cares for 14 orphaned children, along with her own 3 children. 18 lives in total, all nurtured on a shoestring budget of just $180 a month.
Despite living without running water or electricity, Miss Isabellah provides more than just food and shelter, she gives these children hope, spiritual guidance, and a sense of family. Her home is a place of faith, laughter, and resilience.
At Hope’s Alive Poverty Solutions (HAPS), we saw her extraordinary commitment and stepped in to help. Together, we’re working toward building a sustainable future for the orphanage. Our next major goal is to construct a full-scale chicken farm right on the property. Once funded, this farm will:
• Provide a reliable food source for the children
• Generate income through egg and poultry sales
• Lay the foundation for a future vocational school on-site
But we can’t do this without your help.
By partnering with us, you’re not just donating, you’re investing in the future of these children and empowering a mother in the faith who refuses to give up.
