We're Ken and Danielle Strahan, and together we lead this ministry; one born out of loss, shaped by love, and propelled by a calling to bring lasting hope to the hurting.
Ken founded Hope's Alive Poverty Solutions (HAPS) alongside his late wife, Jamie Pulliam-Strahan, with a vision to help the world's most vulnerable, widows, orphans, and fatherless boy, rise with dignity and purpose through sustainable micro-businesses and gospel-centered mentorship.
After each walking through deep valleys as widows and discovering God's healing hope, He brought us together in a new season. Today, as husband and wife, we carry this mission forward together. Danielle has stepped into this calling not just as a partner in marriage, but as a partner in purpose, helping fulfill the dream God placed on Ken and Jamie's hearts, now renewed and expanded through our shared story.
Through two branches of ministry, we serve the overlooked, the underserved, and the forgotten:
HAPS (Hope's Alive Poverty Solutions) empowers the world's poorest, especially widows with children, through faith-based micro-businesses that offer sustainable income and lasting dignity.
HAO (Hope's Alive Outdoors) mentors boys ages 10 from single-parent homes and hard places, guiding them through outdoor adventures that challenge, inspire, and grow their walk with Christ.
